Welcome to Microsoft Office 2013 Tutorial blog... 


This is my first post which i believe it's what you need before diving into the world of Ms Office Word 2013. Take your time to enjoy this article.

So, the very first thing i will touch in this article is how to open Ms Word 2013 on your Pc. It's very important to understand different methods of opening Ms Word 2013. So, i will walk you through some easy methods of doing this.

How to open Ms office Word 2013
Method 1

  • Go to your desktop and locate Ms Word logo. The book like icon having a W inside of it.

  • Double click on it or right click and then click open.
  • Note: if you don't have that logo on your desktop, then you can try the next method.
Method 2
  • Click the Start Button located at the left bottom part of the screen and search for Word 2013. 
  • Click the first search result you get names Word 2013.
Method 3


  • Locate Ms Office Word 2013 Logo on your Task bar (bottom of your screen)
  • Then click on it to open.
With any of these methods, am very certain that you most have opened Ms Word 2013 by now. So lets continue...

If you tried any of the above stated methods, you should get to this point (check the picture below)

Now, click on Blank Document or whatsoever template type you want to click on depending on the document type you want. But for now, click on Blank Document. After that, you should see the blank page! Hurray, you just opened Ms Word 2013.

Now, click on File, Save, choose your desired folder where you want the document to be and input the file name you want to call that document from the dialog box that pops out. After naming the document, click Save. 
By doing this, you have Created and Saved your first blank document lolzzz. Was it easy to do?
